The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting Jesse Jackson Jr. testified Wednesday on alleged extortion in the Blagojevich retrial.

Jesse Jackson Jr.'s testimony in Rod Blagojevich's retrial might have significantly weakened the former governor's defense against corruption charges, according to a Chicago Sun-Times report.
The article said Jackson described his relationship with Blagojevich as "frosty at best." Jackson said he was forced to go to to great lengths just to get Blagojevich to appoint him as a senator, according to the report.

Jackson also said he believes his wife was denied a state job because he refused to contribute $25,000 towards Blagojevich's campaign for governor, according to the article.
Blagojevich denied Jackson's allegation, but conceded his other statements were accurate, according to the report.
