Join us for JCFI's 1st Annual 2k Walk & 5k Run/Walk on October 1 in Lynwood

Please join us for Jassac Charitable Foundation's Inaugural 2k/5k
Run/Walk to promote health and wellness in Chicago's south suburbs. Part
of JCFI’s mission is to promote community awareness of health concerns
to individuals and families. Your support will help bring awareness to
fight hunger, to advocate for the homeless and to improve healthy
lifestyle habits. We are ready to be a catalyst for change. Join us on
October 1!! All ages and athletic abilities are welcome! Let’s get
physical!
October 10th is Homeless Awareness Day and the
whole month of October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We will be
supporting South Suburban Family Shelter (SSFS) and South Suburban Public Action to Deliver Shelter (P.A.D.S.) by accepting donations of toiletries and clothing. Both
organizations help clients gain better options in their life with
compassion and dignity.

2k registration - $15
5k registration - $25

Event details and schedule

Race Features:
Flat course - chip timing - water stations - post-race
snacks - medals for all finishers - dri-fit shirt for all registered
participants - special recognition for first place male and female
finishers

The race will begin at 8:00am at the Southland Center and will take you through the neighborhoods of Lynwood and Lansing, and part of the beautiful and serene Cook County Forest
Preserve.

There will be FREE parking for all participants.
No bicycles, skates, skateboards or pets allowed.

Packet pick up will be held on Friday September 30 at the Southland Center

On race day we will be accepting donations for South Suburban Family Shelter and South Suburban Public Action to Deliver Shelter(P.A.D.S.). We will be accepting new white socks, new travel size toiletries and
gently used clothing. Please consider donating to these worthy charities.
