Starting June 8, come to the Flossmoor Public Library for an exhibition of the artwork of longtime HF area resident Lory Reed Sprinkel. After her children were grown, Lory turned from the practical arts of sewing, knitting and needlepoint to painting and printing. Over the ensuing years, she has created an intriguing and varied collection of hand silk-screened prints, painted objects, and acrylic and watercolor paintings in both representational and abstract styles. A selection of this eclectic body of work will be on display at the library from June 8 through July 8, 2014.
