Dr Lisa Grant of Grant Orthodontics recently recognized by non profit, Smiles Change Lives for her dedication to helping kids in need.

Homewood, IL, Chicago, IL- Dr. Lisa Grant, DDS, of Lisa Grant Orthodontics in Homewood, IL, was honored at Smiles Change Lives’ (SCL) 6th Annual Gini Awards, on September 23, 2016 in Kansas City, MO. The Gini Awards honors those who have gone above and beyond to inspire hope, raise self-esteem and help change the lives of thousands of children across the U.S. and Canada by providing kids with braces whose families cannot afford the full cost of orthodontic treatment.
The Gini Awards are named in honor of SCL founder, Mrs. Virginia "Gini" Brown, whose vision and dedication has created a legacy of care for underserved children in need of orthodontic treatment throughout the nation. This annual event honors the many orthodontic providers, referring dentists, volunteers, sponsors, and board members who have gone above and beyond to support the mission of SCL. SCL works with over 800 orthodontic providers nationwide to provide braces to children throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Dr. Grant embodies the spirit of this award. Since beginning her participation with SCL, she has eliminated a 24 month waiting list for children in need of orthodontic treatment on the south side of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Dr. Grant’s continuing education events and her community outreach for SCL is unwavering and makes her one of Smiles Change Lives’ premier orthodontists. As a result of Dr. Grant’s tireless efforts on SCL’s behalf, hundreds of children in her community will be able to receive braces they otherwise could not have afforded.
