Matteson Area Public Library earns National Award
Matteson Library ranked in the top 3.5% for public libraries nationwide.
Library Journal has awarded the Matteson Area Public Library District, the distinction of being a three-star Library. This places the Library in the top 3.5 percent of public libraries nationwide, library officials said. Of 7,361 public libraries in the U.S. that qualify for the rankings, 257 receive the star designations.
We, the Library would like to thank the community for their support in helping the library achieve this national recognition!
We are hosting a Winter Welcome Open House for the families of the community on Sunday, December 2, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, at 801 School Ave, Matteson. Come and enjoy some crafts, learn about our wide variety of services, and participate in a variety of activities. Participants can be entered into a $100 Marcus gift card raffle.
