Meet-and-Greet for D153 Schools on Aug. 19

School starts in Homewood School District 153 on Thursday, Aug. 21. Parents should note that the first day of school is a full day with no early dismissal. Incoming fifth-graders and their families are invited to Millennium School to meet staff and each other prior to the start of school.

The meet and greet takes place Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 3:30 p.m. to 4 pm. on the outdoor plaza, according to an announcement on the district website. If the weather is poor, the event will not take place.

New parents should register for the Parent Portal on the district website.
