New Children's Choir at The Music Connection in Orland Park

Does your child love to sing? Finding January cold and bleak without that cheery holiday music of December? Consider the new Children’s Choir!

Christina Eubank, vocal instructor and choir director at The Music Connection, is the director of the newly formed Children’s Choir of The Music Connection.

Mrs. Eubank has had 15 years experience directing children’s liturgical as well as show choirs. Her choirs have performed on tours and in venues through Illinois. She thoroughly enjoys the tour experience that excellent choirs need for exposure and development.

“This choir will include singing literature for 2 and 3 part harmony and varied styles to insure educational and vocal development. Students will be given solo and ensemble opportunity as well as doing fun choreography through the 5 pieces selected for performance each session, “ said Eubank.

“Since joining the teaching staff of The Music Connection, Mrs. Eubank has been an invaluable teacher,” said Janet Kuester, director. “She teaches a full load of private piano and vocal students, does our piano enrichment classes, which give our private students much needed supplementation in the areas of music theory, rhythm, and note reading.” “And.. she makes music education and enrichment lots of fun for all the students!”

Children’s Choir is open to students who are in 1st-5th grade. It will be offered in a winter and spring session. Winter session is January 16-March 27. Spring session is April 17-June 15. Rehearsals will be held at The Music Connection 10751 165th Street, Suite 104, Orland Park, Illinois, 60467 from 4:30-5:30pm on Fridays.

The cost of the program is $80 per session for current Music Connection students and $89 for students not currently enrolled as private students of The Music Connection. A participation fee for music, folders and year end concert/pizza party is $12.50 per session.
