New ER phrase

Just a very short post.  It is well known that GOMER in medical lingo stands for--not Gomer Pyle--but "Get out of my ER."  There is also the phrase "treat'em and street'em"  which is obviously a reference to processing the patient out of the ER (which nowadays is more likely to be called the "ED" for emergency department).  However, I had never come across a phrase for the practice of dumping the patients into the hospital so they are cleared from the ED roster (and not likely to bother the ED doc any time soon).  As a specialist in the hospital much sinned against by this practice, I have thought about the need for such a phrase.  At this point for the Internet I would propose "bed'em and shed'em."  But I am willing to ask for other options or opinions
