Pickup Trucks Now Allowed On Flossmoor Driveways
Trustees in Flossmoor voted unanimously in favor of lifting a restriction that's been in place for more than 40 years.

FLOSSMOOR, IL - It had been a decades-long restriction, but it took less than two months after voters spoke for the village of Flossmoor to officially allow pickup trucks to be parked on residential driveways. Flossmoor trustees voted 6-0 this week to amend an ordinance that originally banned pickup trucks from the village in 1975, ABC-7 Chicago reports.
Last November, voters in the village supported the change in an advisory referendum. Nearly 63 percent of voters said "yes" to the question of lifting the restrictions.
