Police Found Parents of Child Wandering Homewood Streets

A child believed to be 2 to 3 years of age was found in pajamas wandering unattended in the 18800 block of Morgan Street Monday morning around 9 a.m. Police searched throughout the day for the little boy’s parents or guardians. As of 4 p.m., the parents have been found, reports NBC Chicago. The child has been in the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services. Ben Bradley at ABC Chicago reports that an elderly caretaker thought the child was napping.
