Prairie Manor Nursing & Rehab is proud to announce their new partnership with Integrated Rehab Consultants LLC. IRC provides a physiatrist (physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation) at the facility three times a week, which is a wonderful thing for the residents and patients at Prairie Manor. Prairie Manor is extremely excited that Dr. Amish Patel the CEO of IRC is the rounding physiatrist at the facility. Dr. Patel is a wonderful addition to the team.
Dr. Amish Patel graduated medical school from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He received his medical degree in 2006. After graduating Dr. Patel obtained a highly competitive transitional year internship at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago. He graduated from his Internship with Honors in 2007.

Dr. Patel began his specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, IL in 2007. While at Marianjoy, Dr. Patel headed up several committees including the Ethics Committee, Patient Safety Committee, and GME Committee. Dr. Patel served as Chief Resident his senior year and graduated his residency in 2010.

Currently, Dr. Patel is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Rehab Consultants. IRC specializes in rehab in Post-Acute facilities, and is among the largest groups in the country. IRC currently has contracts to provide Physiatry services in multiple cities/states including Chicago, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Austin, Orlando, Scottsdale, Los Angeles and Dallas. Dr. Patel also served as the Medical Director for Advanced Neurological Services, for whom he conducted electromyography tests throughout the Chicagoland area from 2010-2012.
In the summer of 2012 Dr. Patel left his position at Professional Neurological to start EMrG Diagnostic testing. EMrG is currently conducting EMG testing in the greater Chicago area and is in the process of expanding nationally.
Dr. Patel is a member of numerous professional societies including American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
