PV and Me: A Guide to Solar Electricity

Local Science Guy, Barry Latham, will lead a hands-on discussion about solar power. With the assistance of a small demonstration kit, he will show participants how photo-voltaic power is generated, stored, converted, and retrieved. With his physics students, he installed a PV system on Bloom High School several years ago, and installed one on his own house in Homewood more recently; to date, it is the largest one in town.  Registration is required and limited.  Please call the library to register for this program: 708-798-3600.
