Blue Turf Installed At Bloom Football Field
Sarff Field has a new look. It might remind college football fans of Boise State.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - The transformation is nearing completion. A significant amount of blue turfhas been installed at Sarff Field, the home of the Bloom Township High School football team.
Bloom Township High School District 206 Superintendent Lenell Navarre released a series of photos on Twitter to give Blazing Trojans fans a sneak peek at the new and improved surface. Before this year, the field was covered with natural grass.

Other improvements at Bloom athletic facilities taking place also include a resurfacing of the track and reconstruction of track event areas such as the high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put and discus areas.

The blue field project was paid for in large part by a portion of a grant under the QSCB Program that went to both Bloom Township and Bloom Trail campuses.
