Warrior Wresting 2 Slams The South Suburbs

Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, Illinois, hosted its second Warrior Wrestling event on Sunday, September 2^nd on the heels of the historic “All In” independent wrestling extravaganza the previous night in Chicagoland.

The main event of the evening featured the first-ever War of Attrition match starring international superstar and other renowned wrestling champions, star of Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground, was victorious in the elimination-style match and was crowned Warrior Wrestling’s first champion.

Over 1,000 fans packed Marian Catholic’s West Gym for an incredible display of athleticism and pageantry. The action in the ring was matched by out-of-this-world interviews and character segments, including some featuring Hollywood films star David Arquette.

The event raised money for scholarships for students at the school. Ticket sales, concessions, merchandise, and a split the pot raffle all contributed to the success of the night. Warrior Wrestling was the brain child of Marian Catholic Principal Mr. Steve Tortorello and was brought to life with the hard work of many Marian staff members.
