Suspect Released In Wade Mansion Fire Without Charges

Authorities cited the lack of evidence for releasing a man after 24 hours.

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL - The person detained right after the massive fire that engulfed a south suburban mansion previously owned by NBA star and former Chicago Bull Dwyane Wade has been released. Authorities cited the lack of evidence after holding the man for 24 hours, the Daily Southtown reported.

The cause of the fire that spread throughout the home in the 1600 block of 158th Street in the Dolton/South Holland area on Oct. 22 is still unclear.

No one was injured in the home fire, although officials told the Southtown that it was occupied.

Wade never lived at the home, but previous reports indicate his ex-wife and children did.
