Three People Stabbed In Chicago Heights

Three people were stabbed Labor Day in Chicago Heights, including the suspect. None of the injuries were life-threatening.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL —Two men and one woman, including a man police said was the attacker, were stabbed early Labor Day evening.

According to the Sun-Times, Chicago Heights police found a woman, 44, with stab wounds to her neck, and a man, 20, who was stabbed in the shoulder, at a house on North Pamela Drive Monday at about 6:30 p.m.

They found the man who they believe stabbed them on the 100 block of North Normandy. He had fled the scene on foot, the Sun-Times reported. He, too, had been stabbed. The man had injuries to his chest and abdomen.

All three were treated at a local hospital. None of the injuries were life threatening, the newspaper reported.

Police declined to release more details. An investigation is ongoing.
