South Suburban Humane Society Debuts Resale Shop

South Suburban Humane Society announced the soft opening of its new resale shop, located at 137 E. Joe Orr Rd. in Chicago Heights.

The soft opening is set for Monday, August 4. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store will offer women’s and children’s clothing, household and decorative items, books, jewelry, shoes, and mixed media to start. They plan to add more as the business develops. 

“We are just ridiculously excited to tell you that the SSHS Resale Shop located at 137 E Joe Orr Road in the Olympia Plaza of Chicago Heights has its soft opening tomorrow!” staff wrote on the shelter’s Facebook page. “We’ll have modified hours to start so please shop and donate to your heart’s content Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.”
