Sports Photo Gallery: H-F Falls Just Short in Boys Volleyball

For more than one hour, the match went back and forth.

It was anybody's guess who would grab the win as Homewood-Flossmoor battled Oak Forest in a non-conference boys volleyball duel on Monday.

In the end, the Bengals escaped with a 26-24, 25-17 victory.

Yes, H-F coach Brandon Cotter noticed room for improvement. But he said his boys are working  hard and are making steady progress.

"We struggled last season," Cotter said. "So, we're working hard on passing and hitting and really focusing on our offense."
