Sports Photo Gallery: H-F Girls Settle for Split

Marissa Werner and Jessica Markanich provided the offensive firepower for Homewood-Flossmoor's softball team in Game 1 of a recent doubleheader split against Tinley Park.

Werner went 3-for-3 and drove in two runs as the Vikings took the opener 4-2. Markanich had two hits and one RBI. Sarah Burke struck out seven.

Tinley Park won Game 2 by a score of 3-2.

Markanich had two hits for the Vikings. She also scored one run and added one RBI. Kaitlyn Shereyk went 2-for-3 with one run. Adrienne Contreras struck out five.
