Street Paving In Homewood Expected To Be Complete By End Of June
Summer paving has already begun on five Homewood streets and one parking lot.

HOMEWOOD, IL - Summer paving work in Homewood has already begun on five village streets and one parking lot. Village contractor D Construction is slated to complete the project by the end of June, according to a news release from the village of Homewood. Weather conditions could delay the completion date past June 29.
The following street sections are currently under resurfacing projects:
- Vincennes from Pine Road to Dixie Highway
- 184th Street from Kedzie Avenue to Kimball
- Birch Road from Loomis Avenue to Riegel Road
- Cedar Road from Harwood Avenue to Ashland Avenue
- Village Hall Alley from Dixie Highway to 60' west
- Merchant Park Parking Lot
Work in these areas includes the repair and patching of badly deteriorated pavement, replacement of bad curb and sidewalk sections, repair of storm inlets and manholes and a complete resurfacing of the street and parking lot, according to the village.

The roadways have and will remain open during construction, but travel times are increased during the day.
