The IPO @ Ravisloe: A Musical Journey through America

All aboard! The next stop in the IPO @ Ravisloe Summer Music
Series will be on July 2 at 7 p.m. when the IPO Brass Quintet arrives to take guests on “A Musical Journey through America.”

Designed to celebrate America’s birthday with a nod to her diverse musical make up, the songs will transport listeners from sea to shining sea with a range of styles that include jazz, swing, ragtime and some light classics, explained quintet organizer Greg Fudala.

“Plus it’s just a really fun concert. We do a lot of talking from the stage as we narrate the selections, so it’s pretty interactive with the audience,” he added.

Members of the quintet include IPO musicians Greg Fudala, trumpet; John Schreckengost, horn; Adam Moen, trombone and Sean Whitaker, tuba, along with a non-IPO colleague, Ross Beacraft, also on trumpet.
