Platt told the officer a friend of his had been smoking in his car. However, when the officer asked him to exit the vehicle, Platt took out a clear plastic bag containing a green plant material from the car’s ashtray and said, “OK, that’s all I got,” the report stated. Platt was then taken in to custody, the report added.
A further search of the vehicle uncovered two sealed, clear bags containing a green plant material under the driver’s seat, the report stated.
