A catalytic converter was taken from a car parked between 3 p.m. Jan. 29, and 5 p.m. Feb. 1, in the 0-100 block of Olive Road, according to Homewood police reports.

Cynthia Brown-Pringle, 61, of the 500 block of West 14th Street, Chicago Heights, was cited for criminal trespass to land after refusing to leave a fast-food restaurant Jan. 28, according to Palos Heights police reports.

An employee at McDonald’s, 17740 Halsted St., told police Brown-Pringle, who had been given a trespass warning at the business Jan. 22, was asked to leave several times between 6:25 and 6:34 p.m., but refused, the report stated. Brown-Pringle was in McDonald’s vestibule when police eventually arrived, and she was taken in to custody, the report added.
