Winning Lotto Ticket Sold in Homewood
A ticket sold at the Dixie Highway Mobil station matched all five numbers from the Illinois Lucky Day Lotto drawing on Friday afternoon.
HOMEWOOD, IL -- A Homewood gas station sold the winning ticket from the Friday midday Lucky Day Lotto drawing. The winning ticket was purchased at the Mobil at 17500 S. Dixie Highway and matched all five numbers -- 03, 18, 29, 32, 33 -- to win the $600,000 prize, according to an Illinois Lottery news release.
"The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to immediately sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery's five prize centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights," the release states. "Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize."
The Mobil will be given $6,000, 1 percent of the winning amount, for selling the winning ticket.
