Today, Sgt. L.J. Marak is profiled. He is the Area #2 Sergeant:

Marak has been employed with the Huntley Police Department since March, 2002. He attended and graduated from the Police Training Institute in Champaign, in June, 2002.
From January 2005 until January 2008, Marak was assigned to the Investigations Division of the Department. He is a certified Field Training Sergeant and Evidence Technician.
Marak is also a Firearms Instructor, Rifle/Carbine Instructor, a BASSET Instructor, and an Immediate Action/Rapid Response Instructor.
He is a Harper College graduate.
Off duty, Marak enjoys hunting, camping, and spending time with his family.
Area No. 2 includes:
- Main Street on the North - Kreutzer Road on the South
- East of Route 47 - South to the Village Limits (Heritage – Cider Grove – Wing Pointe – Lion’s Chase)
