Dyrek Named to Benedictine Dean's List

Jessica Marie Dyrek, of Huntley, was among 687 students named to the Dean's List at Benedictine University for the Fall 2011 semester.

The Dean's List recognizes full-time students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average or above.

Benedictine University is an independent Roman Catholic institution located in Lisle just 25 miles west of Chicago. Founded in 1887, Benedictine provides 54 undergraduate majors, 16 graduate and four doctorate programs, according to a school press release.

The Chronicle of Higher Education recently ranked Benedictine University as the seventh fastest-growing campus among private nonprofit master's universities, and Forbes magazine named Benedictine among the top 20 percent of America's colleges for 2011.
