Raiders Bowlers Place In Top Five At Sectionals
Red Raiders team rolled over Marengo last week, and then moved on to sectionals.
The Huntley High School Athletics Booster Club reports scores and highlights from all of the Red Raiders athletic teams on its website.
The ABC site reports the Raiders boys bowling team had successful matches this past week.
On Saturday, Jan. 21, Huntley bowlers finished a respectable fifth out of 16 teams at the Stevenson Sectional with a 5827 total, the site states. Lake Zurich took home first place with a total of 6423.

The Raiders’ Max Barron “could be named an at-large qualifier for the next weekend’s IHSA State Tournament,” the site stated. Announcement of qualifiers was expected to be made on Monday.

The Red Raiders bowlers defeated Marengo 3300-3068, according to the ABC site. “The Raiders delivered a pair of 685 series from Nick Nitti and Spencer Gardner. Max Barron also added a 278 game for the Red Raiders,” the site reports.
