Reckless Motorcyclist with Mohawk on Helmet Leads Police on Chase
Huntley Officers lose him as he flees to Lake in the Hills.

An unidentified motorcyclist_ wearing a helmet that appeared to have fake hair that looked like a “Mohawk”_ led police on a chase through Southwind subdivision Sunday,
Deputy Chief Todd Fulton said an officer observed a person on a green motorcycle driving recklessly near Algonquin and Haligus roads around 2 pm.
The motorcyclist was driving on one wheel, a wheelie, while traveling about 62 mph in a 45 mph zone, Fulton said.

As the officer tried to make a traffic stop, the cyclist drove through the subdivision at a high rate of speed, he said. Witnesses said four or five squad cars were following the cyclist.
The driver fled east on Bordeaux drive from Bedford drive, into LITH where officers lost sight of him, police said.

He was wearing all black with a black backpack and helmet, Fulton said.
