• Crisis Center Foundation expands healthy teen relationship series (myjournalcourier.com) — Free summer relationship workshops for ages 11–18 are coming to 1101 W. Morton Ave. and Minnie Barr Park in Jacksonville, offering food, games, and real-world skills on boundaries, safety, and coping. The Crisis Center Foundation is also hosting a May 27 domestic-violence wellness talk at Jacksonville Public Library and a June 4 family art group for survivors.
   

• Woman shaken, but not injured, after car runs into house (myjournalcourier.com) — A Jacksonville woman escaped injury after a speeding car slammed into her house near North Prairie Street and West Lafayette Avenue early Monday morning. Police say the driver, a 22-year-old Jacksonville man, was arrested on DUI and reckless driving charges and later released under state pre-trial guidelines. The homeowner is making repairs and worries about frequent speeding at the four-way stop.
   

• Big Game Motorsports and Gravel Gain 16 Feature Positions During Weekend at Eldora Speedway (speedwaydigest.com) — World of Outlaws sprint car star David Gravel brings his points lead to Jacksonville Speedway this Thursday for the Hy-Vee Perks 40, giving local race fans a shot to see a top national driver. He finished fifth here last season and is coming off strong runs at Eldora.
