2 Joliet Cocaine Dealers Arrested With Stolen Gun, Pills: Police
Joliet Police executed a search warrant in the 700 block of West Marion Street following an extensive narcotics investigation.

JOLIET, IL — Two Joliet cocaine dealing defendants, 42-year-old Victor Bailey, and his 25-year-old acquaintance from Chicago, Trayonte Holmes, are now in Will County's Jail following Thursday evening's Joliet police raid of a house in the 700 block of West Marion Street.
During the raid conducted by Joliet police's Narcotics and Tactical units, a 9 mm handgun and ammunition, cash, cocaine and ecstasy pills were confiscated, police spokesman Dwayne English announced.
He said that Bailey was booked into the Will County Jail on two charges of unlawful delivery of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a stolen gun, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, obstructing justice, resisting arrest and driving while license suspended. Bailey also had one Will County arrest warrant and one from LaSalle County.

As for Holmes, he was arrested on charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
Joliet police raided the house on West Marion around 5:55 p.m. Before the search warrant, Bailey and Holmes were pulled over while driving in the 900 block of West Jefferson Street.

"Bailey refused commands to exit the vehicle while appearing to swallow suspected narcotics," English indicated. "Bailey was transported to Ascension St Joseph Medical Center by the Joliet Fire Department. He was treated and released a short time later."
