2 Shot At Joliet's Riverwalk Homes: Police
At this time, it is unknown if the two shootings are related, Joliet police announced on Saturday.

JOLIET, IL — You can give the Evergreen Terrace public housing projects on Joliet's near west side a new name, but you can't stop the violence that has plagued this property for decades. While most of Joliet's citizens were sound asleep in their beds, two men emerged from 363 N. Broadway St. and 366 N. Broadway St. with gunshots wounds.
It happened just after 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
One of the shooting victims did not want to help the Joliet police detectives solve the crime and capture his shooter, according to the Joliet police press release details.

Officers immediately provided medical assistance until arrival of Joliet Fire Department paramedics. Information provided by the victim indicated he was shot by an unknown person near the third-floor hallway of 366 North Broadway St.
Then, as officers were still on the scene investigating that shooting, they discovered a 45-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left thigh near 363 North Broadway.
Officers immediately provided medical assistance until arrival of Joliet Fire Department paramedics. This victim was uncooperative toward Joliet police, officials said, and he indicated no knowledge of the other shooting, and refused to provide further information.
Both gunshot victims were taken to Ascension St Joseph Medical Center by the Joliet Fire Department. Injuries to both victims appear to be non-life threatening. Officers attempted to locate crime scenes for either shooting, but were unable to do so. At this time, it is unknown if the two shootings are related, English noted.
