On Monday night, the mass murder suspect and relative of the victims, Romeo Nance, fatally shot himself as a Texas fugitive task force chased him down to a gas station off Interstate 35 in Natalia, Texas. Nance had lived at both of the houses on West Acres Road in recent years, according to his extensive criminal history at the Will County Courthouse.
According to police, an eighth victim tied to the killing spree was killed at a different location in Joliet Township Sunday afternoon.
