Photo Gallery: Joliet's 9th Annual Star Wars Day
Joliet's downtown was overrun by creatures from a distant galaxy on Saturday.

JOLIET, IL - The Joliet Public Library's 9th annual Joliet Star Wars Day drew a massive turnout on Saturday. Library officials expected at least 10,000 people would show up on Saturday and it's hard to believe the crowd was any less.
Joliet Patch got downtown about two hours before the 11 a.m. parade. By 1 p.m., there were hundreds, perhaps thousands of creatures from another galaxy patronizing the Joliet Public Library, wandering inside the Rialto Square Theatre and posing for photographs at the Joliet Area Historical Museum.
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. So, no more words are necessary.
