3 Juveniles Burn Victim With Metal Object: Cops

The three Joliet minors were taken to River Valley's Juvenile Justice Center on McDonough Street.

JOLIET, IL - Three Joliet teenagers were arrested late Sunday morning after Joliet Police say the juveniles burned another juvenile with a hot piece of metal on his neck. The victim was also beaten by the three boys who have been charged with unlawful restraint and aggravated battery, according to police.

The three codefendants are 15, 16 and 16, and because they are minors, their names are not released by police.

According to police, Joliet officers were called to the 500 block of Bellarmine Drive after other residents notified police that someone was being beaten and held against his will.
