3 More Arrests: Joliet Police Keep Arresting Anthony Dunn
Joliet police cars were busy in downtown Joliet over the weekend, arresting Joliet resident Anthony Dunn three more times.

JOLIET, IL — Less than a week after being pepper sprayed by a bank security guard in downtown Joliet, 37-year-old Joliet resident Anthony Deray Dunn got arrested three more times this past weekend. All of Dunn's weekend arrests stemmed from incidents in downtown Joliet, in the 300 block of North Ottawa Street, police records show.
Dunn, Patch readers may remember, also got arrested Monday, Nov. 2 at the BMO Harris bank after police said he kept touching a woman who worked at the bank and refused to stop. Eventually, a security guard intervened, and Dunn ran outside to the stairwell behind the Rialto Square Theatre where Joliet police arrested him. To read that story, go here.

Around 2:10 p.m., Saturday, officers learned that Dunn had struck one of the eighth floor residents in the face at the Joliet Housing Authority high-rise on North Ottawa Street. Dunn's punch caused the man to fall to the floor, police reported.
A Joliet Fire Department ambulance brought the victim to St. Joe's hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Joliet officers arrested Dunn on charges of battery. However, he was later released on an I-bond, police reports show.

Next, around 7 a.m. on Sunday, Joliet police arrested Dunn for the second straight day, this time on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to property.
That incident also happened in the 300 block of North Ottawa Street.
"Officers determined that Dunn was asked to leave the residence by the victim and refused," Joliet police records show. "Dunn left the premises after being advised by officers to leave and not return. A short time later, Dunn returned to the same residence and began arguing with the victim. Officers placed Dunn into custody without incident," Joliet police records show.
Following his second arrest, Dunn was also released on an I-bond, police noted.
Dunn's third arrest, however, led to his detention at the Will County Jail, and that's where he still remained Monday afternoon facing charges of criminal trespass to property as well as violation of bail bond.
Around 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, Joliet officers had to return to the same property in the 300 block of North Ottawa Street for "an unwanted person on the property," reports state.
"Officers arrived and observed Dunn on the property. Dunn had been arrested at this same address earlier in the morning for criminal trespass to property and advised not to return," Joliet police said.
This time, Joliet police determined that Dunn’s third arrest over the weekend had violated the terms of his bond for the earlier arrest at the same address and that's why he ended up at the Will County Jail, reports indicate.
Will County Jail records indicate that Dunn lives in the 100 block of Union Street.
