3rd DUI Charge For Godley Man Accused Of Harming Kitten
Two weeks before John Segerberg injured the brain of a kitten, Will County arrested him on third offense drunken driving, charges show.

BRAIDWOOD, IL — Exactly two weeks before Will County Sheriff's deputies arrested John Segerberg of Godley in connection with allegations he intentionally injured the brain of a little kitten, the former Braidwood man was picked up for his third drunken driving arrest, according to Will County prosecutors.
Segerberg's aggravated driving under the influence complaint states that at 10:56 p.m. on March 17, the 34-year-old man was under the influence of alcohol while driving a silver 2005 Dodge Neon on Stripmine Road in Wilmington.
The criminal complaint indicates that Segerberg's previous DUI convictions occurred on March 26, 2022, here in Will County and back on Nov. 13, 2013 in Cook County with "said violation being a third violation."
