JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department's detective division continues to remain active in last week's gunshot death at the Plainfield Road Denny's restaurant. On Wednesday evening, Joliet Police issued a short press release announcing that a third person, Christopher C. Parker, 23, of Chicago, has been taken into custody. The warrant for Parker's arrest charged him with first-degree murder, robbery and armed robbery. His mugshot appears at the top of this Joliet Patch article.
Although jail records list Parker as being a Chicago resident, he spent three days in the Will County Jail in July 2017 after the Will County Sheriff's Office arrested him on charges of theft that summer, logs show. He's now being held on a $5 million bail, meaning he needs to come up with $500,000 cash in order to get out of jail while his murder case is pending at the Will County Courthouse.
On the night of April 30, 36-year-old Crest Hill resident Gregory G. Brown Jr. was gunned down by a single bullet in the parking lot of Denny's. Prior to the slaying, Joliet Police believe he was inside the Denny's with Bobbie Ollom, 23, formerly of Joliet, now of Seneca.

Ollom and Joshua Anderson, 20, were both jailed this past weekend in Iowa, in the Des Moines County Jail in Burlington. Court officials there say the two are slated to have an extradition hearing on Thursday.
Ollom and Anderson have been charged in Will County with first-degree murder, robbery and armed robbery as well.
