4 More Will County Coronavirus Deaths Reported

Will County reports 107 deaths attributed to the new coronavirus so far this year.

JOLIET, IL — Four more residents from Will County have died as a result of the new coronavirus, according to Tuesday's report issued by Will County Health Department spokesman Steve Brandy. The four most recent deaths included a man and woman in their 50s, a man in his 70s and a man in his 80s. Will County's number of coronvirus deaths increased from 103 to 107.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases across Will County reached 1,739 on Tuesday, April 21. That is up 46 cases from Monday.

According to the data, 66 percent of Will County's coronavirus deaths were residents in their 70s and older.

  • 2 people in their 30s have died
  • 3 people in their 40s have died
  • 11 people in their 50s have died
  • 20 people in their 60s have died
  • 23 people in their 70s have died
  • 36 people in their 80s have died
  • 11 people in their 90s have died
  • 1 woman who was at least 100 years old has died.
