Court documents outline a long list of items Joliet police confiscated from the West Jefferson Street business.

JOLIET, IL — This month's drug raid at the Brooks Barber Shop in the 2200 block of West Jefferson Street resulted in the Joliet Police Department's seizure of $48,854, plus more than 10 flat screen televisions, Coach purses, Milwaukee power saws and other merchandise, documents filed at the Will County Courthouse show.
A complaint has been opened by Will County prosecutors stemming from the Jan. 13 raid. Three charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, cocaine, were filed against the Joliet barbershop owner, Terrance Brooks Sr., 41.
The petition also seeks to confiscate a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe belonging to Brooks. The document, filed an assistant Will County State's Attorney, asks a judge to find there is probable cause to make Brooks' property subject to police forfeiture.
