$5,000 Reward Offered In March 27 Joliet Murder
Will County Crime Stoppers wants to locate this Joliet man's killer. Can you help?
JOLIET, IL - It's been more than a month since a 26-year-old Joliet man was gunned down on the city's east side and his killer remains on the loose. Now, the Will County Crime Stoppers organization is offering a $5,000 reward for tips that lead to an arrest for the slaying of Jakias L. Holman.
Holman was killed around 7:45 p.m. on March 27. According to Crime Stoppers, Joliet Police officers found Holman's body inside his car, which was parked on the side of the road in a Joliet neighborhood in the Forest Park area.
"Mr. Holman had been shot to death," the Crime Stoppers bulletin explains.

On a number of occasions in the past, Joliet Police have solved violent crimes with the help of reward money. That is what police are hoping will happen now in Holman's case.
The Crime Stoppers bulletin informs people that a reward of up to $5,000 will be paid "for information that leads to an arrest."
