7-Eleven Clerk Forced Into Back Room By Gun-Wielding Robbers, Cash and Smokes Stolen
The hooded crooks stole cash and cigarettes.

JOLIET, IL — A pair of hooded crooks — one armed with a revolver — stuck up the 7-Eleven on Essington Road early Wednesday.
The bandits struck about 2:30 a.m., pulling a gun on a female clerk and forcing her into the back room of the convenience store on Essington near Caton Farm Road.
The two men cleaned out the register, ordered the clerk not to call the police, and snatched some cartons of cigarettes on their way out.
