Investigators say the 77-year-old woman is accused of hitting a Joliet officer with a patio chair, and both relatives now face multiple domestic battery and obstruction-related charges before being released from the Will County jail.

Combative Joliet Trespasser, 26, Taken To Ground During Her Arrest At Super 8 Motel: Police (patch.com) β Joliet readers may notice increased police activity near the Super 8 Motel on McDonough Street, where officers arrested a 26-year-old woman after she allegedly returned to the property and resisted being taken into custody. Police say she was taken to the ground after raising a clenched hand toward an officer and then allegedly kicked him in the face multiple times, leading to several felony and misdemeanor charges and a court appearance in Will County.
