3. Viral 'Joliet' Video On TikTok Makes The World Go Crazy, But It Was Not In Joliet: Newsweek Reveals (patch.com) — Residents in Joliet have been buzzing about a viral TikTok video showing fence contractors dismantling their work after a payment dispute, widely described online as happening in Joliet. Local officials told Newsweek the property is actually outside Joliet's city limits in unincorporated Will County, leaving the homeowner unidentified and the full story still unclear.
4. Doomed To Failure, Route 59's Proposed Gas Station, Car Wash Yanked Off Joliet City Council Agenda (patch.com) — Joliet residents along Route 59 just saw a proposed 24-hour gas station, car wash, and future restaurant near CarMax pulled from the City Council agenda after council skepticism.
