Hazel Gooch
Born April 18, 1933 in Water Valley, MS to the late Ira Hervey Sr. and Betty Fly. Hazel departed this life on February 27, 2013.
Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Gooch Sr.; daughters, Gladys and Hazle Gooch; two sons, Charles and Johnny Gooch; four grandchildren; and 11 siblings.

She is survived by seven children, Wesley Jr. (Maxine), George and Thomas (Juliet), Betty, Alice, Mary Gooch and Sandra (Ronnie) Knight, three brothers, Leonard Rice, Charlie Rice, and Charles Hervey, three sisters, Bernice Green, Grace M. Hervey and Clista Hervey, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation Friday, March 8, 2013 10-11 AM at St. Paul M.B. Church, 1404 S. Briggs St., Joliet, IL. Service at 11 AM, Pastor Edward Martin, Jr., officiating. Interment following at Elmhurst Cemetery.
