Upcoming Car Show at USF

The University of St. Francis Student Activities Board will sponsor its first car show from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 25.

Cars will be showcased in the Sullivan Recreation Center parking lot at the corner of Wilcox and Douglas Streets.

While the show will be focused on antique vehicles, other types will be welcome.

The event will feature a 50/50 raffle; a raffle to win a handmade Chevrolet stained class piece; a DJ playing “tunes of the times”; and food, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

The show will benefit the USF Student Activities Board through raffle and food sale proceeds.

Trophies will be awarded for best Chevy, Dodge/Plymouth, Ford and Orphan. A People's Choice Award will also be given.

In the event of rain, the event will be moved Aug. 26.
