JOLIET, IL — An incident involving threats of violence toward the Louis Joliet Mall employees who work at the AT&T store prompted Joliet police to arrest 41-year-old Justin Colnar for the first time this year, police reports.

Colnar, who comes from the 3100 block of September Drive, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. The incident happened around 1:55 p.m. on Sunday at the mall's AT&T store.

"Colnar entered the store and began acting aggressively toward the store employees," Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English told Patch. He said Colnar appeared to be intoxicated and refused to leave the store, despite being told to leave multiple times by employees.

"At one point, Colnar threatened to punch an employee. Mall security arrived and escorted Colnar out of the mall," English noted.

Joliet police said the responding officers made contact with Colnar outside the mall, and he was placed into custody without incident.
