Dwight Patrick remains locked away from society in Will County's Jail.

JOLIET, IL - A 37-year-old Joliet man was taken away early Wednesday morning in handcuffs as a result of a loud, late night domestic disturbance that bothered his neighbors, Joliet Police said. Officers went to the apartment and met with a female ... who stated that she has been in a verbal argument with her child's father, Patrick, who locked himself in their bedroom," reports show.

At a later point in time, the bedroom door was finally opened, but Patrick was not acting friendly, according to police.
"Patrick became highly irate with officers and began to swear at them ... Officers advised Patrick that the neighbors were complaining from the noise. Patrick continued to yell at the officers, then Patrick aggressively approached the officers until he was a few inches from one of the officers," reports state.
Patrick needed to step back and calm down, the police said they told him.
"Patrick stepped back, but then charged aggressively at the officers with both of his hands clenched and took a fighting stance. Officers, in fear of a battery, advised Patrick to place both his hands behind his back as he was now under arrest. Patrick was then arrested without incident for the above offense," reports show.
