Another Motorcycle Fatality In Joliet: Victim Dies At Silver Cross
A portion of Cass Street was shut down on Thursday night as a result of the crash involving the motorcycle and another vehicle.
JOLIET, IL — The victim of Thursday night's crash involving a motorcycle on Joliet's east side has died, Will County Coroner Laurie Summers announced on Friday. She identified the victim as 35-year-old motorcyclist Jacolb Ammons.
A Joliet Fire Department ambulance rushed Ammons to Silver Cross Hospital and he later died of his injuries.
According to Summers, the crash happened at East Cass Street and Henderson Avenue. The Joliet Police Department is investigating the events leading up to the traffic fatality.
