Anthony's Customer Had Cocaine, Was On Parole: JPD
This Crest Hill man was arrested and taken away in handcuffs by Joliet Police officers.

JOLIET, IL — Around 2:40 a.m. Sunday, Joliet Police officers rushed to the Anthony's Restaurant and Bar near the Louis Joliet Mall, and that's where police arrested 38-year-old Crest Hill resident Eric Wayne Hamilton. Police reports indicate Hamilton was asked to leave by the Anthony's employees but he was defiant and refused to do so. Joliet Police discovered that Hamilton had cocaine in his possession, and he was in violation of his parole status, reports show.
Hamilton was put into the backseat of a squad car and driven to the Will County Jail. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting a peace officer and possession of drug equipment, reports show.
According to police, shortly before 3 a.m., on April 21, Joliet Police were notified that trouble was brewing inside Anthony's.

"Hamilton was causing a disturbance inside the bar and was asked to leave. As part of Hamilton’s parole status, officers searched Hamilton and located cocaine and a pipe on Hamilton’s person. Hamilton then attempted to flee and was taken to the ground. After a brief struggle, Hamilton was placed into custody," Joliet Police reports state.
Jail records indicate the Crest Hill resident lives in the 1100 block of Rahill Court.
