18-year-old faces felony charges in connection with Monday night incident.

A Plainfield 18-year-old was arrested Tuesday, a day after allegedly shooting the tire of another teenager’s car, Joliet police said.

Michael Antonson, of the 1500 block of Dale Circle, turned himself in after learning he was a suspect in the crime, police said. He is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, defacing a firearm and possession of a firearm without a valid FOID card, according to jail records.

Police said Antonson was identified as a suspect during an investigation into the Monday night incident. A teenager told police that two men rushed at his car while he was at the corner of Sahara Drive and Reflection Court at around 10 p.m.
